How to Craft the ATM Star in All The Mods 11

Every ATM pack ends the same way: one item that eats the output of every other mod in the pack. In All The Mods 11 that item is the ATM Star, and the chain to it is written into the pack's own KubeJS scripts (kubejs/server_scripts/modpack/runic_multis/recipes/star_altar.js and friends). This guide walks the whole chain in crafting order, with the exact counts from those scripts, so you can plan the grind instead of guessing at JEI three hours into a session.

The chain at a glance

There are two ways to end up holding a Star, and both happen inside the Runic Star Altar:

1. The first Star — 13 inputs: three stacks of Allthemodium-family blocks, a Patrick Star, and nine "trophy" items that each represent a mod's endgame.
2. Every Star after that — the automation recipe: an Infused Patrick Star, five ATM Star Fragments (each made from a pile of ATM Star Shards plus a Forbidden Arcanus prism), two Forbidden Arcanus dusts and a Lens of the Killer. It exists so you can mass-produce Stars for the creative items.

Order of operations: build the altar, craft a Patrick Star, craft the nine components, craft the first Star. Then set up Starry Bees for shards and switch to the loop recipe.

Building the Runic Star Altar

The altar is a Modern Industrialization crafting multiblock with a 15×15 footprint and 8 layers, 569 blocks in total, all from Forbidden Arcanus. Every altar recipe runs at 2,048 EU/t for 200 ticks (10 seconds), so it needs a Runic Energy Input Hatch fed by a serious MI power line. You will want to preview it with the multiblock's in-world hologram rather than count from this table, but the shopping list is:

The controller block itself is not a crafting-table recipe. It comes out of the Automatic Hephaestus Forge (another runic multiblock from the same script family) from a Lunar Monstrosity loot bag (Eternal Starlight), two Enderium Gears (All The Ores), two Z-Logic Controllers (Ender IO), a Quantum Injector, a Polished Darkstone and two Mundabitur Dust, plus fluids: 200,000 mB Liquid Aureal, 10,000 mB Liquid Souls, 1,000,000 mB Blood (EvilCraft) and 75,000 mB Experience. The hatches are made the same way with Actually Additions laser relays and Mekanism Ultimate Control Circuits. The quest chapter "The ATM Star" covers the runic multiblocks (Runic Crucible, Runic Enchanter, Auto Forge, Star Altar) in order.

Patrick Star

The Patrick Star is the concrete-only "cheap" altar recipe and the first thing to run once the altar is powered. One craft gives one Patrick Star, and you need one for the main Star and another for every Infused Patrick Star.

The pack also defines a Create Mechanical Crafting version of this recipe; Create is not in ATM11 yet either, so the altar is the route.

Awakened Unobtainium-Vibranium Alloy Block

The main recipe wants two of these, and they are an altar craft too. Each one takes an Unobtainium-Vibranium Alloy Block, 4 Awakened Supremium Essence, 4 Awakened Supremium Gemstones (Mystical Agriculture) and 4 enchanted books of Unbreaking I. The output is the same alloy block carrying Unbreaking and the custom name — do not rename it or the altar will not accept it.

The full ATM Star recipe (13 inputs)

Fifteen 3× compressed Nether Star Blocks is the quiet monster in this list: each is 9 blocks of 9 blocks of 9 nether stars, so that line alone is 15 × 729 × 9 = 98,415 nether stars. Nobody does that by hand; it is the reason the Wither's Compass and a wither farm sit in the same chapter.

Where the nine components come from

All nine are shaped crafting-table recipes (see att_items.js); each is nine endgame items from nine different mods. Every recipe is gated on its mods being present, so some are dormant in the current beta.

• Dragon Soul — Infused Dragon's Breath (Apothic Enchanting), Soul Gem (Occultism), a caught Dragon Familiar (Just Dire Things Creature Catcher, or its spawn egg), Socotra Dragon Sapling (Productive Trees), a maxed Ender Dragon Data Model (Hostile Neural Networks), Piglich Heart Block (Allthemodium), a Soul Lava bee (Productive Bees), Abyssal Sacrifice (Cataclysm), Chain of Souls (Eternal Starlight).
• Improbable Probability Device — 2 Antimatter Pellets (Mekanism), 2 Singularities (AE2), 2 MEGA 256M Portable Item Cells or 2 Blastproof Casings (MI), Aerial Interface (PneumaticCraft), 2 Million Furnaces (Iron Furnaces), Lightning Upgrade Orb (Iron's Spells 'n Spellbooks).
• Dimensional Seed — the three All The Tweaks mini portals (Mini Exit, Mini Nether, Mini End) surrounded by AllTheCompressed blocks: 6× Netherrack, 6× Dirt, 5× Obsidian, 5× End Stone, 4× Emerald Block, 4× Diamond Block.
• Wither's Compass — Withered comb (Productive Bees), Wither Builder (Industrial Foregoing), Heart of the Deep (Deeper and Darker), 64× Nether Star Generator (Generator Galore), a level-10 Wither Skull scroll (Iron's Spellbooks), Witherproof Bricks (Mystical Agriculture), a tipped arrow of Long Wither (Apothic Attributes), the Wither glyph (Ars Nouveau), Nether Star Crux (Mystical Agradditions).
• Philosopher's Fuel — Ender Generator and 64× Magmatic Generator (Generator Galore), Rainbow Coal (Iron Furnaces), Insanite Block (Extreme Reactors), Uranium Quad Fuel Rod (MI) or Blaze Burner (Create), Insanium Coal Block (Mystical Agradditions), Smelter Prism (Forbidden Arcanus), Awakened Supremium Ingot Block, and an EvilCraft Dark Tank holding 16,000 mB of Just Dire Things Refined T4 fluid.
• Nexium Emitter — Nitro Player Transmitter (Powah), a Universal Wireless Terminal with every terminal installed (AE2WTLib), Gravitational Modulating Unit (Mekanism), Large Advanced Motor (MI) or Mechanical Arm (Create), Tesla Coil (Immersive Engineering), Quantum Multi-Threader (Advanced AE), Infinity Card (AE Infinity Booster).
• Oblivion Shard — Eternal Stella (Forbidden Arcanus), Mace of Destruction filled with 4,000 mB Blood and 2 Piercing Vengeance Focus (EvilCraft), 2 Galgadorian Drill modules (Steve's Carts), Meat Shredder and Void Forge (Cataclysm), Snow Queen Trophy (Twilight Forest).
• Pulsating Black Hole — Nuke (Oritech), Quantum Ring (AE2), Micromissiles (PneumaticCraft), Paradox Machine (Just Dire Things), PSU 4 (Pocket Storage), Stable Wormhole (Occultism), Crystal Staff (Roots Classic), Mycelial Explosive (Industrial Foregoing), Lightning Bomb (EvilCraft).
• Creative Essence — 4 Insanium Blocks, 4 Insanium Gemstone Blocks and a Master Infusion Crystal (Mystical Agriculture / Agradditions).

Infused Patrick Star

The automation loop starts with upgrading a Patrick Star in the altar. The output is a Patrick Star with Mending and the custom name "Infused Patrick Star".

The quest book points you at the Runic Enchanter for the Mending books and the Infused Dragon's Breath (fluid XP + source + Dragon's Breath), and at the Allthemodium chapter for the three alloy ingots.

ATM Star Shards and the five Fragments

ATM Star Shards (All The Tweaks) come from Productive Bees. Catch a Patrick Bee (a rare fishing catch in warm oceans), right-click it with an ATM Star Block to turn it into a Starry Bee, give it a second ATM Star Block to pollinate, and run the Starry Combs through a Centrifuge for a rare shard drop. The quest book also notes a crusher can grind an ATM Star back into 5 shards, which is a bad trade. Two quests in the chapter hand out 50 and 10 shards as rewards, which is a real head start.

Fragments are altar crafts. There are five, each a distinct item (kubejs:atm_star_shard_1 to _5, all displayed as "ATM Star Fragment"), and each needs a different Forbidden Arcanus prism or crystal:

That is 256 shards for the fragments plus 36 for the Infused Patrick Star: 292 ATM Star Shards per looped Star. The quest book calls the Soul Binding Crystal the hardest of the five (souls, corrupt souls and enchanted souls), so start that one first.

The automated ATM Star recipe

The Lens of the Killer is a crafting-table recipe from a Lens of Certain Death, a Diamond Sword and a Sharpness V book; the Lens of Certain Death itself comes from repeatedly dropping lenses in front of an Atomic Reconstructor (Lens → Lens of Color → Lens of Detonation → onward until Certain Death). Mundabitur Dust is End City loot, or automates from bonemeal, gunpowder, redstone, blaze powder, phantom membrane and arcane crystal dust. Corrupti Dust automates from nether wart, blaze powder, ender pearl fragments, arcane crystals and Obsidiansteel from the Runic Crucible.

What the Star unlocks: the creative path

atm_star_creative.js is the payoff. Each recipe consumes an ATM Star (or, for Railcraft, a shard) and outputs a creative item. The ones defined in the pack:

Nine Stars also compress into an ATM Star Block (All The Tweaks), which the Mekanism tanks and the Starry Bees need.
